Koena looks like a man says Chunky Pandey

Salman Khan's no-show at the Zee Cine awards was not the only hitch the event faced. There was more trouble when one of the show's anchors said, "What's common between Koena Mitra and Emraan Hashmi apart from the fact that they both look like men?" This is what host Chunky Pandey asked at the awards ceremony at the Excel Arena Docklands in London over the weekend.

Whether or not this will be edited from the show's telecast on Zee on May 18 is not known but a source says, "Chunky said that both Koena and Emraan have worked hard on their lips hinting at Koena's alleged lip job and Emraan's reputation as smooch king. The shocker came when he was comparing a segment with actress Minissha Lamba."

A hurt Koena says, "It's very sad. I have worked with Chunky in Apna Sapna Money Money. Emraan and I are very junior to him. It's even worse because I know him well. His remarks were unexpected. I've always thought he was very fond of me. He is also an event manager and keeps calling for me for shows. I didn't expect it."

She adds, "Chunky's dialogues were ugly. How can you call Emraan and me men? No one has ever made a comment on my physicality before or crossed their limits like this." Emraan says, "More than myself I feel bad for Koena. Taking potshots at awards happen but this was in bad taste."

Chunky, however, blames the teleprompter. "I was was to compare Koena and Emraan and Sajid Khan and Karan Johar. But the teleprompter goofed up and what was meant for Sajid and Karan appeared for Koena and Emraan. The dialogue was: What's the similarity between Sajid and Karan apart from both being men?" Chunky adds his wife Bhavna was extremely angry with him. "I have asked the organisers to edit the lines from the TV telecast. I think Koena is one of the sexiest girls I have met."
