Director
Mansoor
Khan
opting
to
help
out
his
cousin-cum-friend,
Aamir
Khan,
for
his
upcoming
home
banner
venture,
Jaane
Tu
Ya
Jaane
Na,
seems
to
have
got
the
rumour
mongers
busy.
Just
a
few
days
back,
media
was
abuzz
about
the
talented
and
successful
director
of
movies
like
Qayamat
Se
Qayamat
Tak
(1988),
Jo
Jeeta
Woh
Sikander
(1992),
Akele
Hum
Akele
Tum
(1995)
and
Josh
(2000),
making
a
fictional
comeback.
But
the
fact
of
the
matter
is
that
Aamir
Khan
requested
Mansoor
to
help
him
out
with
his
nephew
Imran
Khan's
debut
movie
(as
an
actor),
due
to
his
24x7
engagement
with
Taare
Zameen
Par.
Being
the
righteous
kind
of
person
that
Aamir
is,
he
did
not
want
Imran
to
feel
that
he
was
adopting
a
non
caring
attitude
towards
his
film
and
thus
making
him
feel
kind
of
left
out.
And
so
he
sent
Mansoor
an
SOS.
Needless
to
add
that
Mansoor
graciously
agreed.
However,
Mansoor
Khan,
who
is
leading
a
semi-retired
life
at
a
southern
hill
station,
has
no
plans
of
occupying
the
director's
chair
once
again.
In
fact,
all
the
talks
of
him
introducing
Sarika
and
Kamal
Hassan's
daughter,
Shruti,
can
only
be
termed
as
a
figment
of
someone's
fertile
imagination.
