Aditya to call shots on Rani Mukherjee

There are rumours in the tinsel town that Aditya Chopra is planning to direct a movie under the home banner of Yashraj Films. Aditya is said to have approached his close friend Rani Mukherjee to play the lead in this role. Last year there were stories doing rounds that Aditya and Rani are planning to get married in February. Rani is said to have been the reason for Aditya's divorce with his wife Payal. However Rani has always rubbished these rumours and claimed Aditya to be just her friend.

It will a very tough year ahead for Aditya and Yashraj Films as last year was poor in terms of business with only Chak De India doing some business while Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Aaja Nachle failing to impress the audience. Sources close to Aditya have said that even Hritik Roshan and Preity Zinta are being considered for the movie. It remains to be seen whether Rani can turn the fortunes of her friend this year.
