Katrina finally speaks up for Salman

Troubled Bollywood actor Salman Khan has become rumourmongers' favourite prey. So much has been written on his love life and that too for all the wrong reasons. Not long ago, it was rumoured that his over-possessive attitude had turned off girlfriend Katrina Kaif. It was also reported that he slapped Katrina at a coffee bar. This time around, his girlfriend has stood up to defend him.

Salman has chosen to keep his silence but Katrina seems to find the 'slapping story' a little too much to take. For the first time, she has come forward to defend him. She said that Salman never slapped her and that the rumour must have been started by people with other intentions.

So, what must have made Katrina to stand up for Salman, whom she is yet to acknowledge as her boyfriend? Maybe she can't bear to see Salman struggle all alone like all lovers do!
