The superstitious couple has been wearing gems as advised by Dr. Dilip Kumar to ward off troubles in life. However, the news is spreading like wildfire that they have discarded the stones, as they are not doing any good to them. It is said that Gauri stopped wearing them and Shahrukh followed. The reason is that Shahrukh has been going through a bad patch off late. His health has become a matter of concern and his relationship with Salman Khan too has taken a beating.

However, sources said that the couple still wears the stones, though they forget at times. Well, there is no harm trying their luck without the stones.
