Sonam rejects film with Ranbir for Deepika

Sonam Kapoor has declined to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor as his lady love Deepika Padukone also acts in the same movie. The movie in question is Vicky Singh's Mera Jahaan. The debutant director had approached the Saawariya actress to star in the movie but she rejected when she heard Deepika was on board. For the record Sonam maintained she did not want to star in a two heroine project.

Sonam and Ranbir had been childhood friends and made their debut together in Saawariya. All that changed when Deepika Padukone entered Ranbir's life and made sure he severed all ties with Sonam. It is quite obvious that Sonam would not like to be on the same set as Deepika and Ranbir and be a spectator to their customary kisses and cuddles.
