The Last Lear in Hindi?

The Last Lear stars some of the finest talents of the country. In fact, some of the biggest names of Hindi commercial cinema. Yet, the makers chose to make it in English language. But there's talk that the makers may dub the film in Hindi. The decision, it's rumoured, was arrived at after a few well-wishers prevailed upon the makers to dub it in Hindi for a wider reach.

"Well, it (dubbing in Hindi) isn't ruled out," Shubho Shekhar Bhattacharjee of Planman (the producers of The Last Lear) tells me, "However, we will take a call only after we gauge the public feedback." Incidentally, noted writer/actor Saurabh Shukla has been assigned the responsibility of writing the Hindi script.
