The
producer
and
director
of
One
Two
Three
lambast
the
actor
for
declaring
his
role
a
special
appearance;
say
his
scenes
prove
otherwise.
Upen
Patel
maintains
that
he
has
a
special
appearance
in
One
Two
Three.
The
film's
producer
Kumar
Mangat
and
director
Ashwini
Dheer
beg
to
differ.
Says
Upen,
"I
have
a
hot
item
song
in
the
film.
It's
a
club
track
and
the
very
number
for
which
I
was
signed
on.
It's
a
part
of
my
special
appearance.
I
bare
my
body
in
the
song
and
had
to
prepare
for
it.
I
work
out
two
hours
a
day
and
run
10
km
every
second
day
on
Juhu
beach.
If
I
am
shooting,
I
work
out
at
4
am
and
I
hope
the
result
is
showing
in
the
song."
Kumar
Mangat
says,
"Upen
has
shot
for
one
promo
song
with
Tanisha
but
he
is
there
throughout
the
film
till
its
climax.
Whatever
the
director
narrated
to
Upen
has
remained
exactly
the
same
there
have
been
no
changes
made
at
all.
So
if
he
is
saying
he
has
a
special
appearance
in
One
Two
Three,
he's
a
liar!
He
had
come
to
me
asking
for
a
special
appearance
credit.
I
had
told
him
jokingly
'Maine
tera
gaana
kaat
diya'
but
I
think
he
took
it
too
seriously
and
actually
thought
his
role
has
been
chopped."
Ashwini
Dheer
adds,
"Upen
doesn't
have
a
special
appearance
in
One
Two
Three
nor
an
item
song.
If
he's
saying
it's
an
item
song
then
he's
an
item
boy
like
Rakhi
Sawant.
Upen
never
came
and
fought
with
me.
Nobody
would
dare
to
as
I
am
over
6
feet
tall
and
broadly
built.
My
height
and
bulk
are
intimidating.
And
if
I
wanted
a
special
appearance,
I
would
have
asked
a
mega
star
like
Shahrukh
Khan
and
not
someone
like
Upen
Patel
to
do
it!"
Has
he
chopped
Upen's
song?
"Yes,
but
its
only
half
a
minute.
I
have
edited
everyone's
song
in
the
film
as
the
film
is
supposed
to
be
only
two
hours
long.
Upen
and
Tanishaa's
song
was
four
minutes
so
I
cut
it
to
three
and
half
minutes.
Nobody
is
doing
a
guest
appearance
in
the
film.
All
14
characters
have
equal
importance.
Upen
is
like
a
small
child
clamouring
for
attention
all
the
time."
