Aishwarya camp denies scrubbing Sonam's dream

Following reports that Aishwarya Bachchan, the brand ambassador of L'Oreal, was behind Sonam Kapoor's cancellation of her trip to Cannes International Film Festival at the eleventh hour, Aishwarya's camp claimed that the former beauty queen has nothing to do with it.

It is said that Aishwarya would be at Cannes only for two days, as she has a long line of work to do like fashion photo shoots for magazines and interacting with world media. It also added that anybody could go to the Cannes Film Festival as a visitor.

A spokesperson from L'Oreal clarified by saying that Sonam was asked to cancel her visit to Cannes, keeping in mind her recent comment on Aishwarya that was caught out of context. The brand rolled back their plan to avoid farther escalation of the controversy.

Well, L'Oreal had earlier announced that Sonam Kapoor, who has been added to its list of brand ambassadors, would represent Indian beauty of the brand at Cannes. But after the brand rolled back its plan, rumours of Aishwarya behind the whole episode begun circulating in the media. It's said that Aishwarya was not willing to rub shoulders with the upcoming actress.
