Will Shahrukh's Billu woo the audience?

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. The much-hyped film Billu is releasing today. This is not a coincidence. In fact, the makers of the film are trying to make the best use of the day. Moreover, the film is said to be a good story on friendship. Shahrukh Khan has been promoting tirelessly for it in spite of his shoulder injury. This film is set to hit the theatres today.

The film got better publicity from the controversy regarding its title than the presence of Shahrukh. The title of the film was changed from Billu Barber to Billu following protest from the hairdressers' community. Shahrukh played safe by removing the 'barber' from the title. Now, the judgement day is here and the film buffs are going to see it themselves.

Interestingly, the film features Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead. Shahrukh has an extended guest appearance in the film with item numbers by Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. It a remake of the Malayalam hit film Kadha Parayumbol and Priyadarshan directs the new version.
