Karan Johar roping in Katrina for Dostana 2?

Katrina Kaif"s performance in Yash Raj Films" recent hit New York has not only left her critics impressed but director Karan Johar too. It is learnt from reliable sources that pretty actress has finally been roped in to play the lead for his next Dostana 2.

Sources inform, “Katrina has widened her experiences as an actress in a short span of time. On one hand she had a typical potboiler like Singh is Kinng to her credit and then proved her critics wrong with a terrific performance like New York."

“Yet again she is all out to woo the audience with her romantic image in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani with Ranbir but on the flip side she has a hardcore non glamorous look in a movie like Rajneeti. Katrina has found an act of balance as far as her talent as an actress is concerned," adds our source.

Our source informs, "Perhaps this is what has impressed producer Karan Johar who has roped in Katrina for Dostana 2. Karan initially had planned to retain the same cast of Dostana. But Katrina's performance in New York has left him highly impressed and after the survey where she was rated the sexiest Bollywood actress, he confirmed his plans to have her on board."

“Karan has heard a lot of positive change of the actress but for Katrina now it is a privilege to be a part of Dharma Productions," said a friend close to actress.
