Luck, Love Aaj Kal expected to make good opening

The next two weeks are crucial, for it will witness the release of two diverse, big-budget films – Luck (Studio 18) and Love Aaj Kal (Eros). The past few weeks have seen the business hit an all-time low, with Short Kut and Jashnn proving non-starters at the box-office. The losses, especially in the case of Short Kut, would be big.

Talking of Luck, while Shree Ashtavinayak has this policy of not holding any screening of their film prior to its release, those who've watched a closed-door preview of this multi-starrer are unanimous that the film has never-seen-before action scenes. Besides, the film is rich in entertainment, catering to the masses completely. With stylish promos already creating a buzz for the film, several distributors are confident that the film would embark on a flying start at the box-office.

On the other hand, Love Aaj Kal has created a solid impression since the time its first promo came on air. With Imtiaz Ali in the director's seat and Jab We Met extremely popular with moviegoers, plus the Saif Ali Khan - Deepika Padukone jodi looking fresh and Pritam's music climbing the popularity charts, it's felt that Love Aaj Kal will also open big.

While Kambakkht Ishq fetched an electrifying start and if Luck and Love Aaj Kal also open big, the month of July would've generated enormous revenue for the film industry.
