Sonam reiterates she L'Oreal's young face

Aishwarya Bachchan may have prevented Sonam Kapoor from walking the red carpet at Cannes but she surely hasn't shattered the Kapoor girl's belief that she is the young face of L'Oreal in India. In a recent television chat show with Koel Purie the Saawariya actress reiterated that she saw herself as the young face of the cosmetic giant in India.

The actress said it was a huge disappointment for her not to be a part of the prestigious group walking the red carpet during the Cannes Film Festival. She however denied that there was any cold war going on between her and Aishwarya. On a diplomatic note she said Cannes was a 'professional obligation' which did not work out so she didn't want to think too much about it.

Sonam was to walk the red carpet along with Aishwarya, Penelope Cruz, Kerry Washington, Beyonce Knowles, Eva Longoria and Scarlett Johansson at Cannes but her comment on Aishwarya hurt the former Miss World. She had said she will appeal to the young girls while Aishwarya will appeal to the old women for L'Oreal in India. Ash got upset when reminded about her age and made sure Sonam missed her ticket to Cannes.
