Saif learns kickboxing for Agent Vinod

It seems actor Saif Ali Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make his his latest film Agent Vinod a hard-hitting film. He underwent kickboxing training for three months in order to get into the skin of the character and get the fight sequences right.

Yes, Saif trained under Ziauddin Khatib, a three-time world kickboxing champion, for his role in Agent Vinod. “We trained for two to three hours daily. Saif was a very good student and trained religiously. He always came on time, though he had many things to handle (he is also producing the film). He even went beyond the training necessary to learn sparring so that it will give that extra edge to his fights," Mid-day quoted Khatib as saying.

Agent Vinod is an action thriller featuring Saif and his girlfriend Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is scheduled for release in May 2010.
