Aruna Shields to pose nude in Mr Singh Mrs Mehta

It looks like Mr Singh Mrs Mehta produced by Manu Kumaran will run into trouble with the Censor Board. The reason is that the film requires the female lead Aruna Shields to pose nude in one of the sequences like Kate Winslet did in Titanic.

Director Pravesh Bhardwaj approached as many as 60 actresses for the female lead role in Mr Singh Mrs Mehta but they all turned him down for one reason – 'nude scene.' The female character in the film is a muse for a nude painting. So, she has to pose nude in front a man who is not her husband yet she gives a damn care to what the society would react.

The director received lots of abuses and embarrassment even from upcoming actresses for this script. However, Aruna, who was last seen with Vivek Oberoi in Prince, came to his rescue. She breathe new life to the film by giving the green signal.
