Bipasha Basu roped in for Italian Job remake!

Filmmaker duo Abbas-Mastan has finally zeroed in with Bipasha Basu as the leading lady of their next flick the remake of The Italian Job. The remake version has been titled as Players.

A source was quoted saying that the director and producer of the movie decided to cast her after seeing her sizzling performance in Rohan Sippy"s Dum Maro Dum. Her character in the movie will be very sexy and deadly. The source added that her character in the film will be a very intelligent one, who is very much part of the team and she is not just a scantily clad pretty face.

Other big names in the film include Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonam Kapoor. Earlier, two other big names (Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif) were considered to play the lead roles.

The mega budget movie will start its first schedule in the November first week in Goa. The team will then travel to New Zealand and later to Russia.
