Deepika Padukone ends friendship with Asin

Didn"t we hear that Deepika Padukone got along well with Asin Thottumkal? Any thing can happen at the wink of an eye in Bollywood. The latest we hear is that their friendship has turned sour. And as expected, it was a role in a film that became a bone of contention.

Yes, the grapevine is abuzz with the news that Deepika and Asin turned foes after the announcement of the final cast of Annes Bazmee"s untitled film, a remake of South Indian film Ready. It is said that Deepika was first approached to act with Salman Khan in the film. But Anees signed Asin as Deepika hinted that she had no dates available.

However, sources said that Deepika was keen on working with Anees and Salman, and was about to sign the dotted line. This led to the strain in their friendship.

Well, we are yet to hear from Deepika and Asin!
