All sorts of stories started surfacing, as the release date of Karthik Calling Karthik drew near. First, it was reported that the lead pair of the film Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone were having affair. Now, another news is doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor is trying to reunite with his ex-girlfriend Deepika.

It was reported that Deepika's growing proximity with Shahid Kapoor has left Ranbir worried. He has been sms-ing continuously to her ever since the news of her alleged relationship broke out. But the duo have decided to keep silent in spite of the rumour spreading like wildfire.

Why are the ex lovers keeping silent? Is there any truth to the rumours? Nobody knows because Deepika and Ranbir have not spoken out. Maybe it's just a publicity stunt for Karthik Calling Karthik. And Deepika must be happy that her film is getting free publicity. It has hit the theatres today.
