Dia Mirza marrying Shoaib Akthar?

An Indo-Pak romance has always created a hype at the box-office. A la Veer Zaara, Pakeeza, Heena etc! Looks like the celluloid saga has happened in real life as well! The recent Sania Mirza-Shoaib Malik marriage created quite a hype on both sides of the border. The dust hadn"t quite settled on it when another rumours of another cross-country alliance surfaced. According to the Pakistan Media, speedster Shoaib Akhtar is set to wed Indian beauty queen Dia Mirza.

Some days ago, Pakistani channel Geo TV band had aired a feature claiming that Dia was to marry the Pakistani cricketer Akhtar. Not just that, she reportedly claimed that her wedding would be grander than the Sania-Shoaib nuptials.

However, the pretty actress has lashed out, claiming that the reports are false and untrue. She vehemently denied the news, stating that they were a figment of an over-active imagination. A source said that she doesn"t even know Shoaib Akhtar. She was quoted saying that she would happily announce her marriage to the world if it were true.

After Sania-Shoaib and Sushmita Sen-Wasim Akram, looks like the junta would like to see more couples of Indian damsels and Pakistani cricketers.
