Hrithik-Barbara almost caused stampede

Even after the release of their film Kites, Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori didn't stop promoting it. They flew down to the Capital on Sunday evening for a promotional event of the film but it almost turned disastrous. It's reported that they almost caused stampede at Great India Place (GIP) Mall in Noida.

Sources said that the mall turned chaotic with ardent fans of the actors and onlookers trying to have a glimpse of them and Barbara even bruised her knees due to pushing and shoving. The mall was thronged by over one lakh fans and shoppers.

Shopkeepers complaint that their visit had caused huge loss to their business. The mall was crowded but the people were more interested in seeing the actors than purchase things. Big brands like Louis Philippe, Reid and Taylor, Monte Carlo, Van Heusen and others claimed that the stars had spoiled their day's business.

However, the mall authorities claimed that everything was in place with enough security guards and bouncers.
