Film
Murder
(2004)
produced
by
the
Bhatt
camp,
undoubtedly
rocked
at
the
box
office.
It
collected
innumerable
votes
for
its
Emraan
Hashmi-Mallika
Sherawat
sizzling
chemistry
on-screen.
Recently,
it
is
reported
that
a
sequel
of
the
film
is
on
the
board,
however,
unfortunately
neither
Mallika
Sherawat
nor
Emraan
Hashmi
will
be
featuring
in
Murder
2.
Guess
what!
Sri
Lankan
beauty
Jacqueline
Fernandes
has
made
her
way
to
the
second
part
of
the
film.
However,
the
producers
have
openly
admitted
in
the
media
that
the
former
Miss
Sri
Lanka
Universe
was
not
their
first
choice
for
the
role.
The
film
earlier
was
offered
to
several
other
actresses
in
Bollywood,
but
in
vain.
The
male
lead
of
the
film
has
not
been
finalized
yet.
Jacqueline
has
not
yet
been
able
to
carve
a
niche
for
herself
in
Bollywood
and
is
keeping
her
hopes
pinned
on
this
upcoming
release
from
the
Bhatt
camp.
Mohit
Suri
will
be
replacing
Anurag
Basu
as
the
director
of
Murder
2.
Earlier
it
was
reported
that
Bipasha
Basu
was
approached
for
the
role
of
the
lead
actress
in
the
sequel.
But
things
did
not
work
out
between
the
actress
and
the
director.
The
upcoming
film
will
prove
as
an
acid
test
for
Jacqueline
Fernandes
to
blurt
out
all
her
sensual
skills.
