Balaji Telefilms" recent film Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, continues its steady run at the box office even on the third week of its release. This has led to the speculation of a sequel of this controversial movie starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, and Prachi Desai in the lead roles.
Even after facing a lot of pre-release problems for its controversial topic, the movie has been loved by the audience and has been accepted well all over the country. Speaking about the possibility of a sequel of the movie, actor Emraan Hashmi said that he would love to be a part of the sequel if it comes. However, he said that they need an excellent concept first for the sequel of this strong movie, which will again take months of pre-production preparation. The actor said it would be too early to talk about the sequel when the movie is still to complete one month of its successful running.
On being asked by the source if the sequel movie would be a story of Dawood Ibrahim with a title 'Once Upon A Time In Dubai", Emraan replied that it would be the story of Shoaib Khan. He pointed out the fact that Shoaib has already killed his mentor Sultan Mirza, whom he idolized and is basking on his new found success. So the story would start from that point.
Emraan also added that despite popular belief the movie did not reflect Dawood through Shoaib"s character alone. So, the viewers can expect an announcement of the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbai if all goes well!
