Poonam Jhawer in the shoes of Nira Radia

Films based on real life controversies are not uncommon in Bollywood. Another film based on 2G scam, perhaps the biggest scam of the year, is in the offing if the latest news is to be believed. The news is doing the rounds that glam doll Poonam Jhawar is playing the role of corporate lobbyist Nira Radia.

Poonam, who had earlier worked in music videos and small roles in films, has bagged the second lead role in 2G Radia-tion. She said that playing Nira Radia is a role of a lifetime. She added that the makers of the film felt that her personality matches with that of Nira Radia.

It is reported that UK based Hiten Group would produce the film with Satchit Puranik as the director and Matthew R Blute as the cinematographer.
