Shahid banking on Paathshaala for success

Everybody knows that Shahid Kapoor is one of the top actors in Bollywood today but he seems to be running short of confidence following the debacle of Dil Bole Hadippa and Chance Pe Dance. Now, he is banking on his latest release Paathshaala to give him the much-needed hit.

We haven"t seen Shahid promote so agressively like he does for Paathshaala, where he acts with Ayesha Takia. He has gone almost everywhere from his old school to his old home to shopping malls – all for a good opening of the film. One thing he promises wherever he goes is a message to take home.

Paathshaala brings to light the loopholes in today"s education system. It is about the problems faced by students, parents and teachers. After playing a loverboy in Jab We Met and a hard-hitting one in Kaminey, Shahid took up this film, which has the shades of Aamir Khan"s Taare Zameen Par.

Let"s hope Paathshaala, produced by Ahmed Khan and Shaira Khan and directed by Milind Ukey, brings smile on Shahid"s face.
