Shahrukh reluctant to play a fading superstar!

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is a self acclaimed big fan of superstar Shahrukh Khan. Every actor dreams of working with his or her idol at least once in his lifetime. Ranbir is no different. He always wished to work with the Badhshah of Bollywood. However, he had no clue that his dream will so soon come true!

Shahrukh Khan has gives a nod to work with his admirer Ranbir Kapoor. Bengali director Srijit Mukherjee, whose latest release Autograph has been a roaring success in Kolkata, wants to remake his film in Hindi. The Bengali film starring Prasenjit Chatterjee, Nandana and Indraneil Sengupta, revolves around three characters of an aspiring director, a fading superstar and a theater actress.

For the Hindi version, Ranbir Kapoor has been finalized to play the director's role. Negotiations with King Khan is on, who seems to be a bit reluctant to play the fading superstar. (The reason could be obvious as the character is closely similar with his real life!)

However, producer Madhu Mantena, who is excited with the success of the Bengali film, is ready to change the script for Shahrukh but director Srijit wants to go ahead with the original story. Now, it"s all up to Shahrukh if he agrees to sign Autograph at least for the sake of his celebrity fan Ranbir Kapoor, who is excited to work with him.

Does that mean SRK considers himself a fading superstar?
