Aamir Khan using adult tag for publicity?

By Raymond Ronamai

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has been shouting from the rooftop that his forthcoming production Delhi Belly is an adult film. He has even claimed that children should avoid it, as it has lots of abusive and double-meaning words. He may be telling the truth but filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt thinks that it"s nothing but a publicity stunt by the actor to attract the public who look out for sleaze content.

Mahesh feels that Aamir is trying to tempt people by using 'forbidden fruit syndrome" technique. He said that he had used the marketing strategy during his time with films like Sadak (1991). He added that the actor has cleverly got lots of publicity by branding his film as an 'adult film".

Well, Aamir doesn"t act in the film but he has repeatedly said that he has tried something new in Delhi Belly directed by Abhinav Deo. The film features Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala. It is set for release tomorrow, July 1.
