Abhishek-Aishwarya performing at IIFA?

The Bachchans have been staying away from the International Indian Film Academy awards ever since Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan disassociated himself from IIFA a couple of years ago. So, it came as a surprise when some section of the media reported that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would perform at this year's IIFA awards ceremony. Now, the junior Bachchan has denied it all.

Abhishek has rubbished off the rumours that he and his wife would perform at the IIFA awards ceremony to be held at Toronto. “Just to clarify.... Neither Aishwarya nor I will be performing or attending IIFA Toronto. Classic case of jumping the gun!" he wrote on his Twitter page.

A section of the media had earlier reported that Abhishek and his wife Aishwarya would perform a medley of their hit songs together at the award ceremony. Now, that won't happen!
