Reportedly,
Abhishek
Bachchan
is
upset
with
his
character's
death
in
Dum
Maaro
Dum.
Apparently,
he
conveyed
this
to
director
Rohan
Sippy,
who
strongly
believed
in
the
film's
climax.
The
film
went
ahead
as
the
director
wanted.
Sippy
convinced
the
actor
to
go
with
the
original
idea,
however
the
idea
failed
to
lure
Junior
Bachchan
after
he
saw
the
final
edit
of
the
film.
Meanwhile,
Sippy
assures
Mid
Day
that
all
is
well
between
him
and
Abhishek,
“Abhishek
hasn't
told
me
that
he
is
upset
with
the
ending
of
the
film.
I
don't
think
he
should
have
any
issues.
He
had
seen
the
film
several
times.
He
saw
the
edits
and
the
final
copy."
He
added,
“I
stand
by
the
ending
and
if
anyone
who
feels
that
by
keeping
AB
alive
in
the
film
we
would
have
done
better
business,
they
should
know
that
Game
(where
he
doesn't
die)
collected
Rs
4.5
crore
overall
and
we
have
collected
Rs
16.5
crore
in
three
days."
So
is
that
Abhishek
Bachchan's
death
as
ACP
Vishnu
Kamath
in
Dum
Maaro
Dum,
has
cashed
in
money
for
the
makers?
While
shooting
Dilli
6,
Abhishek
had
a
similar
kind
of
problem
with
the
script,
which
showed
him
dying
in
the
film.
On
the
actor's
insistence
the
script
was
altered
and
his
character
was
kept
alive,
however
the
film
crashed
big
time
at
the
Box
Office.
It
should
also
be
noted
that
originally
the
cop's
role
was
not
written
for
Abhishek.
He
swapped
his
role
with
Rana
Daggubatti,
who
played
the
role
of
the
local
DJ
in
Dum
Maaro
Dum.
