Aamir not sending his films for National Awards

It is common knowledge that Aamir Khan doesn"t believe in film awards and never attends such functions except the National Awards. But sadly, he is going to change his stance on this even further by keeping all films from his production house away from all award functions including the National Awards.

It is said that Aamir has made it a company policy not to send all films under his home banner Aamir Khan Productions to compete at any film awards that includes National Awards. If the news is true, we won"t see Aamir"s films at any films award functions from now on.

Aamir had earlier disappointed Anusha Rizvi, director of Peepli LIVE, by not sending the film to the National Awards though it received critical acclaims from all quarters. The actor has been maintaining that what really matters is the audience"s response and not awards.
