Deepika Padukone prays for peace at the Golden Temple

All those who visited the Golden Temple recently in the morning were pleasantly surprised when they spotted Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone stand in a queue enjoying the Shabad Kirtan.

Deepika is on a religious sojourn and has already visited the shrines in Ajmer. The actress also plans to visit other shrines in North India. Deepika Padukone is apparently going through a transition period in her life and visited the temple to seek blessings.

If sources are to be believed, Deepika Padukone has been advised by an astrologer to visit the Golden Temple and even offer a rumalla (handkerchief). The hankerchief, the astrologer adviced will bring peace and balance in her life.

Deepika even spoke to the clergy at the golden temple who gave her a book to chant the Shabad during her free time.
