Will Aamir Khan's magic work in Dhobi Ghat?

If we are to go by his recent releases, we can say Aamir Khan is success personified. It looks like all the films that he is associated with will turn into big hits, and his latest releases like Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and 3 Idiots are proof enough. Even his production film Peepli Live was a huge commercial success though he did not act in it. Now, the big question is whether his magic will work in Dhobi Ghat.

Unlike in Peepli Live, Aamir acts in Dhobi Ghat but his role is small. It is Prateik Babbar who plays the major role. However, the very presence of Aamir in the film has invited lots of publicity and curiosity among the film lovers. And with the critics giving good reviews, the film is likely to make a good opening.

It looks like Dhobi Ghat too will do well at the box office like Aamir"s earlier films. Of course, it is the public who will decide the final verdict of the film.

Dhobi Ghat, directed by Kiran Rao (Aamir"s wife), is about four people from very different backgrounds, whose worlds intersect and leave them forever altered.
