Ekta Kapoor-Sanjay Leela Bhansali at war zone

Ace filmmakers Ekta Kapoor seems to be giving tough times to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The former, who was once admirer of Devdas director, has her hands on the latter's dream project, Bajirao Mastani.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani has been in the news from ages. The filmmaker, who dreamt to cast Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, was forced to rethink about the project after they parted ways. Later, he thought of making it with Salman Khan and Kareen Kapoor in the leads but unfortunately it was also not materialised due to date issues.

Now, Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring the same story on small screen. Soap Queen is secretly working on the project since three months. This has irked Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as he wanted to be the first person to tell the fairy tale to the audience. He is reportedly putting his best efforts to stop her from doing the serial, says report.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has waged the war against her by bringing in her close associate Ravindra Gautham of Bade Achche Lagte Hain fame to helm his debut television project.

However, Bajirao Mastani is the historical story on Maratha ruler Peshwa Bajirao and his wife Mastani.
