Kangana stepping into Vidya's shoes!

One person"s loss is another person"s gain. Vidya Balan won several awards for her performance in the film Ishqiya, but surprisingly, she won"t be in its sequel titled, Dedh Ishqiya. It was rumoured that Rani Mukherjee is keen to act in the sequel but the latest we hear is that Kangana Ranaut will step into the shoes of Vidya.

Sources said that Kangana is on the verge of signing Dedh Ishqiya having completed all the formalities. Director Abhishek Chaubey had earlier revealed that the sequel would have two heroines and that they were considering Madhuri Dixit for one of the roles. The film will have Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles as in the original.

Let"s hope Kangana repeat the magic Vidya created in the original!
