Kangana turns down her friend's film

You just can't hit two birds with a single stone. Actress Kangana Ranaut was forced to opt out of Ram Gopal Varma's film Department, starring her good friend Sanjay Dutt, due to date problem. She turned down the offer on learning that the sequel of Ishqiya by Vishal Bhardwaj is also going to the floors the same time.

It is said that Kangana was in dilemma on learning that both Ishqiya sequel and Department would start at the same time. She is close to Sanjay Dutt but she decided to go for the meatier role. She took up Ishqiya not only because she is a big fan of Vishal but also because she has a performance-oriented role with no glamour quotient.

Sources said that she opted out of Department on a good note, as she has only spoken to Ram Gopal Varma verbally. It added that the actress has huge respect for both RGV and Sanjay Dutt.
