Karan Johar to drop Dostana 2?

Filmmaker Karan Johar will probably drop the Dostana 2 project. The director Tarun Mansukhani tried hard to write a perfect script for Dostana 2 but all in vain. The film was being co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and with UTV Motion Pictures.

After the grand success of Dostana (2008), starring Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra, Karan was very excited to do a squeal of Dostana. Karan Johar was very open about the plans that the team is putting in for Dostana 2, however Tarun has not be able to finalise a script that satisfies Karan also.

It is reported that the first half of the film has already been locked but the trouble is with the second half of the film. The writers if the script with Tarun have not been able to put together a striking second half better than the original one.

Apparently, after rejecting numerous drafts of the script for the film, the failed efforts have now pissed off Karan and the filmmaker has reportedly lost his patience with the film. He wants to move on to making other films.
