Kareena Kapoor to wear 130 costumes for Heroine

Kareena Kapoor will apparently wear 130 costumes for Madhur Bhandarkar and UTV Motion Pictures' upcoming film Heroine. All the costumes will be designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra.

Heroine's production house have apparently kept aside a whopping Rs 1.2 crore of the film's budget to costumes.

Kareena, who plays a diva in Heroine will have at least four costume changes in each scene. The makers of Heroine are leaving no stones unturned to make the film look as glamorous as possible. Heroine is reported to be loosely based on Merlyn Monroe's life.

As per sources, the makers of Heroine have already spent Rs 5 lakhs on the costume that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wore during the few days she shot for Heroine. However, those clothes are useless now as it won't fit Kareena.

Kareena Kapoor is expected to meet Manish Malhotra next weekend for dress fittings. She will be accompanied by director Madhur Bhandarkar.

Heroine is indeed an extravagant project and the biggest for Kareena. Way to go Bebo!
