Rani Mukherjee doesn’t want to be a witch

By Raymond Ronamai

Film actors look for variety once they find a foothold in the film industry, but actress Rani Mukherjee is not a game for certain roles. It seems she turned down the film, Daayan, produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj just because of the role she was offered – the role of a witch.

It is said that Rani was interested in working with Vishal and Ekta in their film Daayan, which is a supernatural thriller about a man having relationship with three women. She was offered the role of a witch which she didn"t like. Moreover, she apparently didn"t like the title of the film and that forced her to say no to the filmmakers.

It was also reported that Rani didn"t want to act with serial kisser Imraan Khan, who plays the lead role in the film. However, sources close to the actress said that she had to turn down Ekta"s film, as she is busy with Aamir's film and is on the verge of signing two big films. The source also added that the actress has no inhibition acting with Imraan or any actor for that matter.
