Saif Ali Khan, Aditya Chopra drifted apart?

If grapevine has to be believed, all's not well between the one time 'best pals' Aditya Chopra and Saif Ali Khan.

As per a leading daily, the two drifted apart during the making of Yash Raj Films (YRF) animation film Roadside Romeo starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. YRF scion Aditya was apparently upset that his best buddy Saif as well as girlfriend Kareena did not promote the film. Roadside Romeo eventually bombed at the box-office, adding to the anger and disappointment of Aditya Chopra. Aditya, as per sources was very keen to make the film work as it was the first time that YRF had ventured into animation.

What adds to the doubt regarding their relationship is the fact that Saif Ali Khan, who did memorable films like Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Roadside Romeo, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and Tashan with YRF hasn't signed any film since his last movie Tashan and Roadside Romeo that released in April and October 2008, respectively. Incidentally, Kareena too hasn't signed any film with Yash Raj Films since Tashan.

It has also been reported that whenever Saif is shooting at the Yash Raj Studios, he does not wait or go upto Aditya's office as he once used to. While Saif is reported to have great respect for Aditya's family, we still do not know for sure if at all there is any truth in this story.
