Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor wedding indefinitely put on hold

The wedding plans of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have apparently been indefinitely put on hold following the death of Saif's father, the legendary cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

The marriage plans had been postponed until mid February next year after Sr Pataudi was admitted to the hospital. Everybody was under the impression that Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi would be fine by then and would be able to attend the wedding. However, his untimely death has apparently pushed the dates even further behind.
As per sources, though the official mourning period is six months, the family will not celebrate for the next one year.

Saif Ali Khan, who rushed to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on hearing the news reportedly broke down upon seeing the body of Sr Pataudi. Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore and sisters Soha Ali Khan and Saba Ali Khan were by Pataudi's bedside when he breathed his last.

Meanwhile, Saif's girlfriend and to-be wife Kareena Kapoor, who was shooting at another location was expected to take a late-night flight to Delhi.

If sources are to be believed, Amrita Singh (Saif Ali Khan's ex wife) is also expected to arrive in their Delhi home with her children (son Ibrahim Ali Khan and daughter Sara Ali Khan).
