If
all
goes
well,
Salman
Khan
will
be
the
hero
in
the
Hindi
remake
of
Mahesh
Babu
starrer
Telugu
blockbuster
Dookudu.
Apart
from
Bodyguard,
no
other
Bollywood
film
has
had
a
dream
run
at
the
box
office.
In
an
effort
to
cash
in
on
the
success
of
Dookudu,
Sreenu
Vaitla,
who
directed
Ready
in
Telugu
is
keen
to
remake
Dookudu
in
Hindi
with
Salman
Khan.
Tollywood's
Dookudu
has
apparently
earned
more
than
Rs
30
crore.
Brad
Pitt's
Moneyball
is
the
only
other
movie
to
surpass
it
financially.
Salman
Khan's
camp
has
hence
decided
to
make
the
best
of
it.
Speaking
to
a
leading
English
daily,
a
source
close
to
Salman
Khan's
camp
said
that
the
character
portrayed
by
Mahesh
Babu
in
Dookudu
fits
Salman's
personality
perfectly
and
hence
they
need
not
make
much
changes
in
the
Hindi
version.
Interestingly
enough,
the
script
for
the
film
Dookudu
was
written
with
Salman
in
mind.
While
the
costs
for
the
Telugu
version
of
Dookudu
came
up
to
Rs
35
crore,
the
Bollywood
remake
for
Dookudu
will
be
approximately
Rs
45
crore.
However,
Bollywood's
very
own
'Bodyguard'
is
still
to
watch
the
Telugu
film
Dookudu
after
which
he
is
expected
to
give
a
nod.
