Salman Khan: Old is gold

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is becoming more like wine. His popularity keeps rising as he gets older. The 45-year-old actor"s acting career is on a new high following the good opening of his latest release Ready.

Wanted happened when his career graph was about to kiss the dust. Realizing his folly, he decided not to do films to help out his friends in spite of bad script. The films that followed didn"t live up to the expectations but he came back strongly with Dabangg, which earned Rs. 212 crore.

Expectations were sky-high on his latest release Ready following the stupendous success of Dabangg. Besides mixed reviews from the critics, the film made a great opening at the box office, earning Rs 13.15 crore on the first day. With the weekend collection expected to cross Rs.40 crore, the film would turn a blockbuster if it continues to pull in the crowd to the theatres for a few more weeks.

Salman's charm still works wonders. At the moment, he is living the idiom 'Old is gold". We expect a lot more good work from the actor, as he is not getting younger!
