Yash Raj Films makes an exception for Salman Khan

Yash Raj Films is one banner that never gives in to the demands of the superstars – be it Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan or Aamir Khan. However, it made an exception for Salman Khan. The banner has not paid full market price to any of the actors it has worked with so far but it reportedly agreed to pay him a whopping Rs.17.5 crore.

Just on the heels of the news that Yash Raj Films allowed Salman to park his personal vanity van in the studios, which the banner never allowed in the past, another news is doing the rounds that it has signed him for the film, Ek Tha Tiger, for Rs.17.5 crore plus a share in its profits. The actor gets higher remuneration for his films but this is said to be the highest fee paid by this banner to any actor.

Salman Khan is going to act with his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif in Ek Tha Tiger to be directed by Kabir Khan.
