Shahrukh stepping into Amitabh’s shoes

By Raymond Ronamai

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has left a vacuum on the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards after he parted ways with the organisers Wizcraft last year. After holding the prestigious event without a brand ambassador for two years, it seems like Shahrukh Khan is filling up the gap by stepping into Amitabh"s shoes.

Sources said that the organisers of the event would rope in Shahrukh as the brand ambassador of IIFA Awards for the years to come. The actor added spice to the event by not only attending but also performing at the recently concluded IIFA Awards held in Toronto.

On watching the promo of the event, the director of Wizcraft Sabbas Joseph reportedly said that Shahrukh would make a great ambassador. However, he denied approaching anyone to replace the Big B.
