By Kalyani Prasad Keshri

Actor Shahrukh Khan may skip the IIFA award ceremony to be held later this month due to his knee injury. SRK, who is supposed to perform at the grand IIFA night, may not be able to entertain the audience this time. He may undergo knee surgery next month. So, his plans of attending IIFA also look shaky.

Shahrukh has been advised not to strain his knees, therefore the actor will cut down on his physical work. While, the actor remained unavailable for comment, IIFA director Sabbas Joseph told Mid Day, "So far there is no change in the plan. Shahrukh will be performing at IIFA this year."

The star had hurt his knee a year ago and was treated by the Kolkata Knight Riders' physiotherapist Andrew Leipus. However, due to rigorous shooting and bone tearing action sequences in Ra.One, his injury has aggravated. Reportedly, he will to undergo a knee surgery next month.
