Sonam spends her birthday with Bhansali

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor knew that she had hurt her mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali by stating on a television show that she would get colour in her life apart from black and blue if she were him. She later apologised for her statement but she thought she needed to do more. So, she called him to a secret dinner on her birthday (June 9).

Sources said that Bhansali had forgiven Sonam after she apologised for the statement she made on Karan Johar's television show but there was certain amount of awkwardness whenever they meet. So, Sonam chose her birthday to sort out all the differences with the director of her debut film, Saawariya.

It is said that the filmmaher and the actress poured out their hearts over dinner. Sonam told her mentor that she never meant to hurt or disrespect him. Bhansali in return advised her to be careful with her choice of words while speaking to the media in the future.

Well, we hope the duo will work together again, now that they have cleared the misunderstanding!
