Vidya not putting on weight for The Dirty Picture

In the much-hyped film The Dirty Picture, actress Vidya Balan plays the role of South Indian actress Silk Smitha, who was known for her glamorous roles and thunder highs. So, everyone was expecting her to put on some weight to look the character. But we hear that she is not putting on weight for the role.

We were sceptic when a section of the media reported that Vidya would add some more kilos to look like her character Silk Smitha because she said at a press meet not long ago that she would not put on weight. Now, sources said that the actress is doing her best to look like the yesteryear actress but without compromising her figure.

Vidya acts with Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. The film is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
