Aamir Khan to play Amol Palekar?

In a recent interview, Vidhu Vinod Chopra told the media that if he decides to remake his movie Khamosh, which is a 28-year old thriller, he would love to cast Aamir Khan as Amol Palekar, Vidya Balan as Shabana Azami and Hrithik Roshan as Naseeruddin Shah. He also said he will change the climax of the film and give it a new twist.

It is learnt that Vidhu Vinod Chopra has digitally restored his film, Khamosh, because it was looking visually old and the audia too does not sound half as great as a new film.

Both Vidya Balan and Aamir khan are perfectionist in their own way. And to make them work together in a film is like a dream come true for any director.
