Something interesting about the party was the supposed conversation between Ban and Aishwarya.

Insiders revealed to a leading daily that Ban is very keen on launching a global awareness campaign, keeping in mind the high female infanticide rate across the country. It is also believed that Ban had offered Ash working with the United Nation's campaign on bringing awareness about the girl child, which the latter accepted.

Insiders also say that Aishwarya had a talk with Dr Margaret Chan, director general, World Health Organisation; Geeta Rao Gupta, deputy executive director, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund; Dr Babatunde Osotimehin, executive director, United Nations Population Fund, and others.
