Aishwarya Rai turned down Brad Pitt's film

When Hollywood filmmaker Wolfgang Petersen thought of casting an extremely beautiful actress for the role of Briseis for his epic war film Troy, he possibly had only one name in his mind. If reports are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was initially considered for the role, but she turned it down.

The role of Briseis later went to actress Rose Byrne. Troy had the Hollywood heavyweight Brad Pitt as the lead actor. But for some unknown reasons Ash turned down the majestic offer at that time.
