According to rumours, Deepika is desperate to work with superstar Salman. She is trying very hard to get Salman's leading lady's role in his next project Kick.

It was reported earlier that Sajid Nadiadwala, who will be directing Kick, was considering Sonakshi Sinha and Angela Johnson for Kick. But by seeing the Box-Office result of Sonakshi Sinha's latest film Joker, the director is in two minds now. However, Bollywood insiders say that Deepika has an upper hand here because she got lots of praises for her role in Cocktail.
